Blow Ltd - Home Hair Styling, Cuts & Beauty Service in Birmingham

This weekend I was introduced to the ‘Uber of the beauty world’ – Blow Ltd. They are the UK’s largest and fastest growing ‘on demand’ beauty services company. Blow Ltd have been blow drying their way around London and Manchester and have now launched in Birmingham.

Besides giving you the perfect blow dry, they also provide makeup, lashes and nail services – so if you’ve got a wedding, special event or you simply want to look catwalk ready for a day in the office, then Blow Ltd are for you!

To get me ready for the festival season, the lovely Marie from Blow Ltd came to my home to create five of the best festival inspired hairstyles on my long hair. Marie arrived on time with a box of Kérastase hair styling products and equipment and was set up and ready to go within a few minutes. To prepare my hair for styling, she began by spritzing my hair with Kérastase and blow drying it to give my hair volume.

1. Braided Crown

The first look Marie created was a braided crown, this style is also perfect for weddings and would look even more stunning with flowers around the crown. This is the first time I've ever had this kind of style done to my hair so I absolutely loved this look.

My hair is really fine and lacks volume so it was lovely to see my hair styled in this way with lots of volume and looking super stylish. The Blow Ltd stylist created this look within a matter of minutes, she loosened up the hair above and below the crown to give the style that effortlessly messy hair look that is perfect for a festival hairstyle.

2. Braided beach waves

This is a hairstyle I would love to rock every day of the week because I just adore that messy loose wave hair look. The waves are beautiful and the boho braids bring out my balayage perfectly, this style empathises the gradual colour change from light brown to light blonde.

So if you have balayage hair this is definitely a style you should try out. The Blow Ltd stylist used Kérastase Sérum Oléo-Relax to tame frizz and leave my hair looking shiny and feeling super soft.

3. Textured curls

These textured curls are perfect if you have layers. I love how this hairstyle really shows off the purple tone in my hair too from overdoing it with the purple shampoo. Because my hair is so fine I don't like to have it straight that often, so I always have it curly to give my hair some volume.

However, I'm terrible at styling my hair so the curls I create myself never look this good! I absolutely love what Marie has done here, she applied Kérastase Densifique Mousse Densimorphose at the root and through the length to plump up the hair to achieve a fuller appearance.

4. Low maintenance braids

If you're looking for a low maintenance hair style for a weekend of glamping, then these french braids are for you. Besides from being super stylish right now, these braids will hide your unwashed hair from the humidity (and a weekend of mud!). Simply add a few flowers to give it that chic look.

5. Boho braids

The final look Marie from Blow Ltd created were these boho braids coming from the front of the head and down into a loosely defined wave. This is also a great hairstyle if your looking for something low maintenance by keeping your hair out of your face yet still have beautiful loose flowing curls.

Overall, I'm really impressed with the professional service I received from Blow Ltd, Marie was lovely and she created five beautiful festival-inspired hairstyles that I cant wait to try and re-create, especially the first three, they're my favourite.
