Center Parcs Woburn Forest: New Style Executive Lodge

Shortly after coming back from Ibiza, I left for a 4 night holiday with my family to Center Parcs in Woburn which is an hours drive away from London. The last time I went to Center Parcs was a few years ago and we went to their Sherwood Forest location which we really enjoyed so it was nice coming back, Woburn is fairly new it has only been open for just over a year so it was great as everything was very modern, the Sherwood Forest lodge we stayed in was slightly out dated as its an older site, although they do have newer lodges available there now. We thought the Sherwood Forest location was much bigger then the Woburn but equally as good and well packed full of activities.

Once we collected our keys we unpacked the car and settled into the New Style Executive Lodge, I had to quickly snap these photos before we dumped all our bags and suitcases and started to clutter the place, so there not great images but you get the idea of what it looks like, the lounge, kitchen and dining area are all open plan. When your unloading the car you have to be quick as everyone who arrives on the Monday to Friday all arrive at the same time, so it can be a squeeze of cars all trying to unload in front of the lodges.

All the bedrooms came with an en-suite which was great as I don't like having to share a bathroom, there was also a little dressing table which I used to sit and put my make up on and dry my hair. Every room came with a hairdryer and the kitchen came with all the facilities you need for a self catering holiday.

The beds were so cosy and we all had such peaceful nights sleep, being in the middle of a forest it was so quiet and relaxing, there was also daily maid service. We hired bikes to get around for the week, they were around £27 each. Depending on the lodge size and time of year you visit Center Parcs can be quite pricey for a British holiday but if your going with a bunch of family in one lodge and all chipping in then its definitely worth the money as we all really enjoyed the holiday.

There was a television in every bedroom and a larger one in the open plan living room, there was also al fresco dining outside, a sauna for each lodge, an outside shower and a BBQ.
