Best Cheap Beach Hotels on Sunset Strip in San Antonio, Ibiza

Prior to booking my visit to Ibiza, I carefully reviewed all of the available photographs and reviews of the Ses Savines Hotel on Trip Advisor in order to gain an understanding of what I could expect from my stay. With a highly favorable rating of 4/5 and a plethora of exceptional reviews and photographs, I felt confident in my decision to book my stay at this hotel.

While booking my Balearic Islands package holiday, I opted to pay an additional £56 in order to secure a sea view room at the Ses Savines Hotel. This extra expense was well worth the cost, as the view from the balcony was breathtaking and afforded me with the perfect location to capture some truly stunning sunset photographs. Specifically, our room was situated on the hotel's 3rd floor, in room 302.

Located within the lively nightlife district of Sant Antoni de Portmany, the Ses Savines Hotel proved to be an ideal lodging option for my vacation. Although I was not looking to engage in a party atmosphere, the hotel was perfectly suited to my needs as it catered to both families and individuals of varying ages who were interested in experiencing all that this beautiful island destination had to offer.

Despite its close proximity to the many bars and clubs of the area, I was pleasantly surprised by the peacefulness of my stay. Even during the bustling party season, I was able to get a full seven nights of restful sleep.

The hotel we stayed at in San Antonio Bay boasted three pools and an abundance of sun loungers, providing the perfect setting for relaxation. Opting for a half board basis, we indulged in the international buffet, with every tea time bringing something new and exciting to try, along with a range of desserts and fresh fruit choices. For breakfast, we were spoilt for choice, with an array of food and drink options such as eggs on toast or stacks of pancakes drizzled in chocolate sauce.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Our room was equipped with twin beds, a large balcony, a shower/bath, and a walk-in wardrobe with plenty of storage. Located on the strip near various shops, restaurants, and bars, we had everything we needed within reach, including a Lidl supermarket only a 15-minute walk away. For those wanting something smaller, a Spar was also close by, offering a range of affordable and well-stocked choices.

Not only was the hotel conveniently located, but it also provided access to various attractions and activities in Ibiza. We highly recommend taking the 2 euro bus ride to the Ibiza Old Town, situated on the other side of the island, for a glimpse into its rich history. Additionally, a boat ride to another island or engaging in water sports in San Antonio Bay, just a stone's throw away from the hotel, were fantastic options to explore and stay active.

In summary, our stay at this hotel was unforgettable. With its stunning beachfront location, easy access to various amenities and activities, and attentive staff, we cannot recommend it enough.

While perusing the reception area, I stumbled upon a rather dubious scheme implemented by the 3 star hotel in question. To my surprise, the establishment was offering guests an opportunity to potentially win a free holiday in exchange for submitting favorable reviews on TripAdvisor. As I gazed upon the piece of paper displayed in plain sight, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of disapproval at this less than ethical tactic. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay here.
