Ses Savines Hotel, San Antonio Ibiza

Affordable Ibiza Hotel on the strip

Before booking my holiday to Ibiza I checked out all the photos and reviews for the Ses Savines Hotel on Trip Advisor first so I knew what to expect. The Ses Savines Hotel has a rating of 4/5 on Trip Advisor and has some great reviews and photos so I didn't hesitate to book it.

When we were booking our package holiday with Thomas Cook we paid an extra £56 for a sea view room and it was worth every penny, we were so glad we did as you can see from the balcony the view is beautiful and it was the perfect position to get great sunset photographs. We were on the 3rd level of the hotel, in room 302.

The Ses Savines Hotel is located in the popular night life area of San Antonio, we weren't really going on holiday to party we just wanted to relax so this choice of hotel was perfect as it was more family orientated, it had young and older holiday makers visiting. Its on the door step to all the popular bars and clubs, yet at night when the shutters were closed it wasn't too loud and we had 7 nights of peaceful sleep, which is surprising as Ibiza is now the party season and very busy.

There were three pools and plenty of sun loungers available, we had chosen a half board basis so breakfast was available at 8-10am and tea from 7:30-9:30pm. We were really impressed with the food, it was an international buffet, every tea time there was something new to try with lots of dessert and fresh fruit choices. For breakfast there was also lots of options, I would either have eggs on toast or stacks of pancakes with chocolate sauce which was delicious.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, our room had twin beds, a large balcony and a shower/bath and a walk in wardrobe with draws. The hotel is located on the strip near shops, restaurants and bars (including a Burger King, KFC and Pizza Hut within a 3 minutes walk), plus there was a large Lidl supermarket within an easy 15 minutes walk and also a Spar which was smaller but very cheap and well packed full of choices if you walk a short distance at the back of the hotel.

I couldn't possibly recommend this hotel enough, its facing the beach and not far from Lidl there is a bus station so you can also visit other parts of the island, for example we visited the Old Town for 2 euros each which is on the other side of the island and it only took 20 minutes on the bus, there is also the opportunity to visit another island by boat or do water sport activities nearby the hotel.
