Caesars Palace Hotel - Las Vegas
Roman themed las vegas resort
Caesars Palace was a resort I really wanted to check out, as its been featured in a few movies like the Hangover and two episodes of Friends where Joey got a job as a gladiator working in the popular Vegas casino. The resort is huge it took me awhile to walk around it especially where the shops are, in some parts of the hotel they have painted a sky on the ceiling and it feels really strange walking around, the resort also has loads of luxury shops like Tiffany & Co, Giorgio Armani and plenty of restaurants.
Caesars Palace is a Roman themed hotel on the west side of the Vegas strip, it has a replica of the stunning Colosseum where they host shows from well known singers such as Rod Stewart, Elton John and Mariah Carey. There are so many statues, high ceilings and ornate features just like you would see in Italy, its such a great resort to walk around. Caesars Palace, The Venetian, Bellagio and the Paris hotel are my most favourite resorts on the strip because they have been themed around Paris, Italy: Rome and Venice which are my favourite European places to visit.
On my way out I did spot a Lush store, I went in there a bought a bath bomb to have in the lovely huge bath at the Vdara Hotel & Spa where I was staying for my week in Vegas, I needed a relaxing soak after walking around this resort and the rest of the strip, I found it exhausting especially in the 46°C heat.
