Travelling to Las Vegas
on my way to vegas..
It's been awhile since I have been to America, so this summer on my long break from University I thought I must do something fun and exciting, so me and my partner booked a week away to see the bright lights of Las Vegas. We have both wanted to go for such a long time and Nevada was the perfect state to stay in so we could also visit nearby states California and Arizona, places we have also always wanted to go.
We flew from London Gatwick in the early hours, so we had a 3 hour drive from Birmingham, then waiting around in the airport and a 12 hour flight, all of which I didn't sleep during so by the time I got to Vegas I was exhausted but as soon as we got to our Vdara hotel we soon woke up and I couldn't wait to go exploring. The flight was good, we flew with British Airways. I've never flown with British Airways before and I am so glad we did because the flight meals and drinks were all included and there was plenty of it throughout the long haul flight, they provided pillows, blankets, toothbrushes and earphones. I also got to watch a few new movies that I hadn't yet got around to watching at the cinema such as The Age of Adeline and The Wedding Ringer plus there were a few Netflix options available.
