Day 1-4 - Exploring Salou, Spain
For the next fortnight I am going to be travelling around Spain so you can follow my journey in a series of blog posts to see what I get up to. We booked our package holiday with Thomson and I am staying at the 'Best Los Angeles' Hotel which is located in Salou, its very modern and clean near the beach, there's plenty of supermarkets and a bus station to get around to towns nearby. I have arranged day trips to Barcelona, Tarragona, the Montserrat Mountains and Cambrils so check out my next post to see plenty of pictures of my travels around Catalonia Spain.
These outfits are what I wore on the evenings in Salou. The black crochet playsuit, tan bag and strappy sandals are all from New Look. New Look has been my go to place recently for all my holiday essentials. The khaki lace dress is from H&M and the gold sandals are from New Look.
Salou is a nice built up place in Spain, the beach is clean, there's plenty of shops and there's a promenade to walk down surrounded by palm trees and fountains, there's usually some sort of entertainment happening around the fountain at night and also lots of good places for food and cocktails.
During the first few days of my holiday in Salou, I spent it checking out the local area, sunbathing and swimming in the sea so its been pretty relaxing - you can check out my post on thing’s to do in Catalonia for inspiration. After having dinner at the hotel we went exploring around Salou and came across this market next to an old building. The market had some lovely handmade crafts and jewellery for sale, I bought some rings and a dream-catcher which matches my bedroom perfectly. Check out my next post to see my trip to Barcelona.
