If you’re looking for some tasty and convenient Asian food to grab while on the go, then Thai Express is the Thai foodie place to visit. Located on the top floor of Grand Central Birmingham opposite Costa and just before you start walking down the passage to get to the Link Bridge to the Bullring, you’ll find fresh authentic flavours to take out or dine in.
Thai Express is leading the way for fast-casual Thai dining and the Canadian franchise brand has a select few locations across the UK offering traditional Pad Thai, green, red, and yellow curry among many more popular dishes.
With tofu, veggies and cashews replacing meat there are a select few options that can be made vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free. All noodles are thin or broad rice noodles and vegetarian dishes are made without fish or chicken broth sauce so are plant-based friendly. So, if you’re vegan just be sure to mention that you don’t want eggs added to your meal.

The Vietnamese Street Kitchen is a family-owned restaurant treating its customers to the best, classic Asian dishes throughout its inviting dining space.

The menu is split across ‘street snacks’, ‘big bowls’ and ‘classics’, allowing you to choose whatever suits your appetite and taste buds.
Enjoy a light, traditional spring roll or fried dumpling, sit down to a filling bowl of pho or try a staple dish such as a Bun Bo Hue or Pho Tai. The restaurant makes sure to cater to everyone's tastes, with a fully stocked vegan, halal and gluten-free menu offering mouth-watering, tempting dishes.
