Vegas to Hollywood Sightseeing Tour
LAS Vegas to California road trip:
Sightseeing in Hollywood - Beverly Hills - Santa Monica
As my Las Vegas holiday was coming to an end and I had seen and done all the stuff I had planned for my holiday in Nevada, plus already ticked off a bucket list trip to the Grand Canyon in Arizona I knew I had to do one more trip to make my time in America complete, by travelling to California.
I spent the last Friday of my holiday on a day trip to the Grand Canyon, we started travelling at 6 am and returned back to our hotel just before 1 am, on a Saturday I had the same all over again travelling to California, I had about 1 hours sleep in between trips so I was exhausted and never slept during the journey, but as soon as we got to Hollywood I was wide awake and looking forward to a day of sightseeing.
I booked the 'Vegas to Hollywood - (Santa Monica & Beverly Hills)' trip with Quality Tours of Las Vegas. They picked us up in a minivan, gave us breakfast and fresh juice then we made our way to Hollywood. The first place we visited was the Warner Brothers Studios and then we stopped at a sightseeing spot to check out the Hollywood sign and the views of downtown Los Angeles.
We were then given a complimentary meal at Hard Rock Cafe on Hollywood Boulevard which was included in the price of the trip. After the meal, we got to spend some free time walking down the Walk of Fame, plus we got to see the celebrity hand prints at Grauman's Theatre.
After walking down Hollywood Boulevard we headed to Beverly Hills, and went past the designer shops on Rodeo Drive and saw the hotel where the Pretty Woman film was filmed. We got some free time to walk around Beverly Hills then we got back in the minivan to go celebrity house spotting around Holmby Hills. We got to see the Playboy Mansion, Micheal Jackson and Robin Williams amazing homes etc.
The last stop of the trip was an hour free time in Santa Monica, I walked along the pier and checked out the arcades, then sat on the beach and relaxed taking in the beautiful views and great atmosphere of people playing guitars and volleyball. Santa Monica beach is where Baywatch was filmed. After an amazing but very long day, I got back on the road to Las Vegas and jumped straight into my king size at the Vdara Hotel & Spa.
