What's in my beach bag?
So here is a quick post to share with you what I have in my beach bag while I am on holiday in Salou, Spain. Firstly, I really like the cute floral ruffles on the pants of my Matalan bikini, when I am searching for swimwear I always buy a halter neck so I don't get those dreaded tan strap lines, I tend to tuck the halterneck in the bust and wear it strapless while I am sunbathing, and then wear the halterneck when I am swimming and walking around for that extra support.
This pretty pink geometric print towel is from Primark, and so are the sunglasses, since taking this picture I have lost these shades somewhere in the Mediterranean sea while I was jumping some big waves, so if you find them, there yours! During my time in Spain I have been stocking up on this Arizona Green Tea with honey which is so delicious, I am a big lover of green tea and so far I haven't been able to drink any with the tea bags I brought from home because the hotel doesn't have a kettle in the room, so this refreshing cold green tea drink is making a nice difference, its a lot tastier too.
And most importantly I have Nivea SPF30 sun cream in my beach bag, I cant stress enough the importance of wearing sun cream and applying it regularly throughout the day. Earlier this year I was devastated to hear the news of TWO women in my family being diagnosed with skin cancer, so this summer I have been really conscious about the amount of time I have been spending in the sun and ensuring I reapply sun cream throughout the day evenly everywhere. Using an SPF on your lips is also really important, its skin after all and they can get dry and burnt easily, so make sure you pucker up with plenty of lip balm this summer too.
