Proactiv Solution - Cleansing Bar for Acne-Prone Skin

Proactiv Solution | Cleansing Bar for Acne-Prone Skin

how to get rid of spots on face & body

Recently I was in Boots looking for acne treatment that I could use on my body, as after a recent holiday I have came out with a few blemishes on my shoulder, which I am guessing has came from using lots of sun lotion and its clogged my pores. I came across this Proactiv Solution Medicated Cleansing bar for acne-prone skin, it can be used on the face and body. It's currently priced at £9.99 which is pricey for a soap, but its a good brand, has lots of positive reviews and its a good sized bar which could last awhile so I thought I would give it a try.

When I am out shopping for beauty products I always quickly google the product first and check out its product rating to decide if its worth buying or not as I always end up with lots of beauty products in the cabinet that I try a few times and end up not liking so this way I know what to expect before I buy.

The soap contains micro beads so it works as an exfoliater too, I used it daily in the shower and within three days the breakout had gone. Usually my face stays generally clear but during that time of month I do get a breakout so I started to use the soap on my face a few days before I was due on to help prevent a breakout and so far during that week my skin has kept clear.

I can imagine using it everyday it could make your skin feel slightly dry, so I am going to only use it one week of the month and use my usual Garnier face wash the rest of the month. If your going to use it daily just follow up with a light moisturiser to prevent your skin from drying out. The soap lathers up really well and leaves your skin feeling really smooth, it has a pleasant smell almost cucumber like, but it does sting slightly if you get it in your eyes.
