Cocktail Masterclass & Venetian Tapas in Birmingham
Celebrating Resorts World Birmingham's Birthday with a High Line Cocktail Masterclass & Venetian Tapas at Bottega Prosecco Bar
Resorts World Birmingham are celebrating their 1st birthday this month, so there's plenty of fun activities and special offers happening around the resort if you want to check it out, they also have a huge cake that you can jump out of, perfect for an Instagram Boomerang selfie!
To mark the special occasion, myself and other Birmingham bloggers and press were invited to an evening of Prosecco and Venetian Tapas at the Bottega Prosecco Bar followed by a cocktail masterclass at the stylish High Line late lounge.
As I recently had a fantastic 3-course meal at the Bottega Prosecco Bar, I was looking forward to trying out the Venetian Tapas. To start we enjoyed a selection board of cheeses, hams, mixed olives and delicious warm bread soaked in olive oil, accompanied with a pot of sweet honey and nutmeg sauce. Shortly followed by a spicy pizza, a creamy parmesan risotto and a crunchy bruschetta with crab and avocado, this was delicious and full of flavour. We then finished with a velvety tiramisu. Bottega offers an authentic Italian experience of fine food, wine, and atmosphere at surprisingly great prices. A few waiting staff are Italian, so you really do feel like you have been whisked away to Italy for an hour, especially with the restaurant's floor to ceiling lake view.
Next up was a cocktail masterclass at the High Line New York Bar and Lounge. The bar has a stylish interior, and a great ambiance with purple lighting and mirrors reflecting light around the room, I especially loved the outside terrace with the funky dome lights too. The cocktail masterclass was great fun and I totally recommend booking a class with a bunch of friends.
The Ting Thing made an impressive Espresso Beluga Martini and my friend Andrada made my favorite of all cocktails the Brooklyn Mojito!
