l'oreal infallible 24h matte foundation

When it comes to buying foundation, I always look out for something that will give me full coverage and is mattifying to help reduce the look of my shiny blemish prone skin. After reading a few of my favorite beauty blogs this L'Oreal Infallible 24h matte foundation had been recommended a couple of times so I thought I would give it a try for myself.

I brought the vanilla shade and it matches well against my pale skin which still has a slight tan from a recent holiday. Firstly, I use a matte primer and concealer to even out my skin tone and to get a good base ready to apply foundation. The foundation is easy to apply and blends in well, hiding my dark circles and blemishes. I have never worn the same makeup for 24 hours but I can imagine this foundation doing what it claims, the longest I have worn this foundation is for around 12-14 hours and I have found it to be long lasting during that time. My complexion is also considerably less shiny compared to a non-matte foundation I have used in the past, so if you're looking for an affordable full coverage, long lasting and shine free foundation I would personally recommend this one.

l'oreal brow artist genius kit

My brows are fair and light so using a brow kit to fill in my eyebrows is in my essential make-up routine. The L'Oreal Brow Artist Genius Kit is great because it comes with everything you need, tweezers to pluck away those strays, a brush to keep your brows in shape and of course some wax and powder to fill them in. I use the light/medium shade which matches my mousey blonde brows well, there is are also a medium/dark shades available too. The kit also comes with a mini angled brush which I use to dip into the wax to create shape, I then use the powder to enhance the brow line and finish with a quick brush, the kit works really well to give you beautiful natural looking brows.

L'oreal voluminous building mascara

When I buy a mascara I am picky when it comes to the wand, I don't like using mascaras that give you clumpy lashes that drop little flecks of mascara on your face throughout the day, I also look for mascaras which are suitable for my sensitive eyes. The L'Oreal Voluminous Building Mascara in black is just what I look for in a mascara. It creates full lashes without clumping and feels light too so it doesn't weigh my lashes down. It also contains a conditioning formula to strengthen lashes.
