#DebsGlamoween - Halloween Beauty Event
Debenhams hosted a spooktacular evening, and inspired me to get creative with make-up this Halloween!
It's almost Halloween, so the lovely ladies at Debenhams invited a couple of beauty bloggers to their Bullring store in Birmingham, to enjoy an evening of fizz, cupcakes and spooky make-up tutorials with Make Up For Ever, Urban Decay and Illamasqua. The #DebsGlamoween event was so much fun, and I met a lovely new blogger, Grace from LoveEllenaGrace, so go check her out.
MAKE UP FOREVER
The event started with a skeleton make-up tutorial at the Make Up For Ever concession, Katie from Havas PR got the spooky makeover, and it looked so good. We received a goody bag of fab Make Up For Ever products, it contained the Smokey Extravagant Mascara, Black Aqua eye pencil and the HD powder, so I can't wait to try them out, as I am a big fan of dramatic black smokey eyes, Halloween or not.
Next, we visited the Illamasqua concession and Chetna explained all about the high-pigment products and Halloween looks you can create with their new range. The brand is all about expressing yourself, so it was so great to hear they support the Sophie Lancaster Foundation . The tragic thing that happened to Sophie really upset me and my friends all those years ago, as we too were goths-emos-greebos whatever you want to label it, so it's so great to know that such an awesome VEGAN beauty brand are donating a percentage from eyeliner sales to the foundation. Our Illamasqua goodies were the 'lip lure' lipstick in Nebulus and the lipstick rouge a'levres in Apocalips.
And finally, the evening ended with a cute mouse tutorial from Urban Decay. The make-up artist was so lovely and she had the most stunning Halloween make-up on, she was wearing glittery eyes and called them unicorn tears. Out of all the Halloween make-up looks we watched, I will definitely be trying out the unicorn tears, maybe not even for Halloween but for like... everyday make-up! it was gorgeous! We received the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Heroine which is a lovely matte dark blue.
