Drugstore Matte Make-up for Oil Prone Skin
affordable makeup for oily skin
For someone with oily to combination skin, I am always on the look out for beauty products to help reduce shine. When it comes to facial washes and masks, I have found products containing charcoal have made the biggest difference (I highly recommend the Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Charcoal Facial Wash) to clean out my pores and remove excess sebum. Sebum helps to keep skin moistirised, but having too much can contribute to an oily t-zone.
I have been using the L'Oreal Infallible 24hr Mattifying foundation for awhile now, it has a high coverage, yet is light so you don't have that heavy cake feel. After applying the foundation I use the Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder and lightly brush it over my t-zone. I have found these two together have made the biggest difference to help reduce shine compared to a bunch of other make-up products I have tried in the past, they are effective and inexpensive so you have nothing to loose.
Another beauty essential that never leaves my handbag, are Kleenex shine absorbing sheets, simply pat them over your t-zone throughout the day when your make-up begins to shine. 'Matte' products are the beauty essentials to help fight oil prone skin.
