4* Hotel Places to stay in Birmingham
As the second biggest city in the UK, Birmingham has the hotel scene covered – whether you're after an overnight stay or accommodation for a week-long city break, you'll never be short of choice.
And if it's a more luxurious experience you're after, several exceptional 4-star hotels within the city will be certain to make your stay in the metropolis the best it could be.
Based upon my personal experiences, I've compiled a list of some of what I consider to be the best hotels in Birmingham that provide a stay so outstanding they're worthy of a 4-star rating.

Located within The Cube, one of the most notable architectural developments in the city, Hotel Indigo Birmingham scores top marks in every category. The stylish and contemporary design of this 4-star establishment reflects its luxurious status, with spacious, deluxe en-suite rooms designed to give you an experience you won't forget.
At just a 10-minute walk from New Street, the hotel couldn't be in a more convenient location. Offering panoramic views of the city skyline and a fully equipped gym, pool, and spa for you to spend your evenings relaxing after a long day of shopping in the Bullring.

Then later in the evening, you could dine at the renowned Marco Pierre White and enjoy a two-course meal with Prosecco for two while admiring 360-degree views of the city from the 25th floor. In fact, the central location makes it one of the top-rated hotels for skyline views of Birmingham.
Prices start from £154 for a one-night stay at this eye-catching accommodation, and with the price, the quality is unquestionably reflected. If you choose to stay at this luxurious hotel, either for an overnight stay or a week-long city get-away, value for your money is undoubtedly provided. Formerly known as Jurys Inn, the hotel is now home to the Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham.
Uniquely situated in a converted retro office block, looks are deceiving for this 4-star luxury accommodation found on Birmingham's dynamic Broad Street. An ideal choice for those travelling on business with it being one of the nearest hotels to the International Convention Centre. This distinctive hotel offers a stylish, homely room complete with an enticing king-size bed and spotless en-suite bathroom.
Jurys Inn Birmingham provides an incredible stay that checks the box for value for money, with rooms available from only £55 a night, with a £10 extra charge allowing you to make the most of a full English breakfast the next morning. Relax in your commodious room for the evening and help yourself to room service or take a short trip down to the hotel's restaurant, offering an inviting atmosphere and a comprehensive menu.
Ultimately, the Jurys Inn Hotel is the perfect example of not judging a book by its cover. Its somewhat bland and insipid exterior couldn't be more unreflective of the experience you'll have here. Located conveniently in the heart of the city, your stay will be nothing short of amazing at this upmarket accommodation.
