TGI Fridays - Resorts World Birmingham

If burgers, nachos, cocktails & fries are your thing then head to TGI Friday's, the Resorts World Birmingham restaurant has an awesome interior & atmosphere!

American style food such as big cheesy burgers, lots of fries and thick creamy chocolate milkshakes is my guilty pleasure, so after a busy week of finishing my 2nd year of university me and a friend headed down to Resorts World Birmingham and couldn’t resist but to get stuck into a huge share bowl of double layered nachos to start celebrating our new found freedom.

The nachos had a layer of corn tortilla chips, melted cheese, chilies, and jalapeños. Served with spicy guacamole, fresh pico de gallo and sour cream on a hidden extra layer of crispy tortilla chips to dip. They tasted delicious and it didn’t take us long to demolish the entire bowl.

Our waitress was Samantha, she was lovely and was quick to keep topping up our drinks with the free refills. We visited TGI Friday’s dot on 11am so we were the first ones inside, which was great so I could take some quick snaps of the very awesome interior, there is a Harley Davidson in the entrance too and a Bulls head charging out of the walls. They also have some al fresco dining going on with a view of the resort's lake.

For our mains, we had the cheeseburger deluxe and a Jack Daniel’s sesame chicken strips with fries. We both tried out each other’s meals and they were very tasty, we especially loved the Jack Daniels glaze on the chicken as it had a sweet honey taste.

We checked out the dessert menu and were so tempted to have either the chocolate fudge fixation, brownie obsession or the cookie dough cheesecake because they sound amazing, but we sadly didn’t have any more room left after indulging in an extra side of fries (there just so good and crispy we couldn’t resist!).

So the next time we are back at TGI Fridays we are definitely ordering the desserts and are going to take advantage of their 2 for 1 on cocktails offer.
