Reduce blemishes & shine with Witch Hazel
Adding Witch Hazel to your skincare routine can help reduce spots and shine
Witch Hazel is a fantastic natural ingredient, that has many beauty benefits. For the past two months, I and my sister have both been using this cost effective Witch Hazel toner solution that we came across in Superdrug, but it can also be brought from many drugstores on the high street and online. It gently cleanses and tones the skin, leaving my face feeling refreshed, clean, soft and clear.
To apply the witch hazel, I simply use a cotton pad and use it to wipe away the day's makeup and dirt from my face and neck. To fully remove all traces of make-up including eye make-up, I usually only need to use 2 cotton pads. I then wash my face with a salicylic acid face wash, the face wash I am currently using is Garnier Pure Active Anti-Blackhead pore wash, which I also recommend to prevent blemishes.
Witch Hazel helps to reduce acne, blemishes, inflammation, and an oily t-zone. Which are all the skin problems I have, and so far I am really happy with the results. My skin has been less shiny and my blemishes have been significantly reduced. As I tend to have a bigger breakout during the time of the month, I have noticed the breakouts haven't been so bad since using this witch hazel solution. So it's definitely going to be a beauty regime I am going to keep up.
This natural ingredient also helps to treat the appearance of varicose veins, puffy eyes, eczema, and psoriasis as well as locking in moisture, healing bruises, sunburn and razor cuts.
